ABOUT US

At Smart Tots, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected, curious and genuinely engaged. Your child's learning is guided by their interests, strengths and stage of development, giving them opportunities to learn through play, exploration, relationships and real-world experiences.

Our educators create intentional learning opportunities that build confidence, encourage curiosity and support children to develop the skills they need for life beyond the early years.

We value meaningful learning over simply ticking boxes, creating an environment where children can wonder, experiment, ask questions, make connections and enjoy being themselves.

Our Curriculum

01

Age group

We cater for children who are from six weeks to six years of age. Our long day care service is available from nursery to kindergarten.

02

Our Learning Programs

Our learning programs are grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, creating meaningful opportunities for children to explore, question, create and discover.

Behind our educational practice is a specialised Pedagogy Mentor who works closely with our Educational Leaders, keeping them connected to current thinking, emerging practices and quality learning approaches in early childhood education.

This additional layer of support helps ensure our educators are continually growing in their practice and that every child experiences learning that is thoughtful, intentional and held to a high standard of excellence.

03

Extracurricular Activities

Our enrichment programs are designed to nurture the whole child. Kindy Science brings STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, to life through hands-on discovery, experimentation and curiosity.

Across our centres, children also enjoy movement programs that encourage physical health and confidence, alongside music and meditation experiences that support mindfulness, emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Because growing up is about more than learning — it’s about moving, creating, wondering, connecting and feeling good too.

Wellbeing and Nutrition

Included in your daily fee are nutritious meals prepared by our in-house cook. We provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. As outdoor play is integral to our curriculum, we apply sunscreen for our children throughout the day. Nappies and wipes are provided for children under the age of two.

Where available, services such as speech pathology, occupational therapy and other developmental support can be provided right here at the centre during your child’s usual centre hours, helping minimise disruption to their day.

Our educators, families and Allied Health professionals work together to create a connected approach that supports each child’s individual needs, confidence and development.
