The People at the
Heart of Smart Tots
At Smart Tots, our educators are dedicated professionals who bring knowledge, care and a genuine passion for early childhood education to their roles. Our team includes qualified educators holding a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, educators working towards their qualifications, and a bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who supports our kindergarten program.
Children’s safety and wellbeing are always our priority. Our team members hold current Blue Cards and undertake first aid training, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis management, in line with applicable requirements.
We are committed to the highest standards of professionalism, ethical practice and accountability, fostering trusting relationships with children and families while creating a safe, supportive and enriching environment for every child.

Every centre has a dedicated director who knows their families and values open, honest communication. Our Educational Leaders also support educators in their practice, guiding curriculum planning and strengthening the quality of learning across our centres.

At Smart Tots, creativity is woven into the way children explore, question and make sense of the world. Across our Alexandra Hills, Capalaba and Mount Cotton centres, our educators see everyday moments as opportunities for discovery, encouraging children to imagine, experiment, express themselves and follow their curiosity.
Through play-based experiences spanning literacy, numeracy, art, craft, music, movement, nature and STEAM, we create opportunities for children to think creatively, solve problems and explore new possibilities.

Who is with your child each day
Every studio has a consistent team, so your child sees familiar faces from drop-off to pickup.
Centre Director
Each centre has its own director who knows every family by name. Their door is open, so please feel free to drop in for a chat at any time.
Educational Leader
Guides the program across the studios and supports and mentors educators so the care and education your child receives is of the highest quality.
Early Childhood Teacher
Our Kindergarten program is delivered by a bachelor-qualified teacher, in accordance with Queensland Government guidelines.
Lead Educators
A lead educator anchors each studio, plans the program around the children in it, and is your first point of contact about your child’s day.
Educators
Qualified educators work alongside the lead educator in every studio.
Our Cook
Meals are prepared on site every day by our in-house cook, who knows each child’s dietary needs.
