Smart Tots Early Education in Alexandra Hills is dedicated to providing high-quality care for young children. Conveniently located next to the Alexandra Hills Shopping Complex, our centre serves families from the surrounding Redlands suburbs. Open daily from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, we prioritise collaboration and open communication, ensuring that every parent and child has a voice. At Smart Tots, we recognise each child’s unique needs and create a fun, supportive environment that fosters a love of learning through play. Our nurturing surroundings and dedicated professionals ensure your child’s developmental journey is both enriching and enjoyable.

Leanne Nehring

Smart Tots Centre Director | Advanced Diploma In Early Education Additional Course Certifications in 3a Practitioner Professional Learning Program Emergent Curriculum Language Learning; Reggio Emilia; Infant & Toddler Nutrition; Behaviour Management and Positive Parenting.

I am an advocate for children and am passionate about their care and wellbeing. My vision is to make Smart Tots a “home away from home” for the children under our care and to provide a stimulating, fun-filled environment for them where they can grow and learn in security and comfort. I have over 20 years experience in childcare and love working with families. Please feel free to drop in for a chat at any time.

Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value As someone who has spent time working in the industry I have seen a lot of what can go on but I have to say that sending my children here was one of the best things I have ever done, not just for them but for myself too. What you see is exactly what you get, professionalism, encouragement and reassurance (especially for those anxious parents like myself where there have been days where I have had the staff let me know that my children are okay). They offer such a large range of activities and programs to encourage and develop skills and are accommodating to children of all different abilities. They offer swimming, gardening, science, non contact rugby league programs just to name a few. The admin staff are also wonderful and very organised. You can always expect to hear back immediately. There are no faults and this centre and it's team make up an absolute treasure right here in the Redlands.
